Back when I was working AND going to school full time I pretty much lived off these peanut noodles. They’re so full of flavor and a nice healthy alternative to yet another frozen dinner after a long day.
You can throw a batch together on Sunday night and eat well all week!
Beer bread: ruler of the savory quick breads!
This bread is nearly foolproof – it’s amazingly simple and fast. You can have fancy bread to go with your chili or stew in an hour and a half. 😀
I’m normally not a huge fan of slow cookers. The food is never as great tasting as what I get from my oven or stove top – or hell, even the pressure cooker! But I have found one pretty awesome use for it: baking a whole chicken!
With persimmon season approaching fast, I wanted to post this recipe to get you guys prepared. Persimmons are one of my favorite fruits! I grew up eating fuyu persimmons and only recently discovered them again when I moved to California. There was a huge persimmon tree on my family’s land in Kentucky and it’s one of my fondest fall memories. 😀
And while persimmons are great right off the tree, this pie makes them even more delicious.
Cake mix cookies are perfect for a last minute dessert. Or if it’s the middle of the night and you want sweets. Or for quick ice cream sandwiches! Yum.
This recipe works so much better than I could have ever imagined! You should definitely give this one a try!
