HAPPY HALLOWEEN GHOULIES!!!
This was my costume this year! I made it on the night of the 29th so I could wear it to the Autodesk Halloween party the next day. 😀
It’s pretty easy – especially if you don’t sew your own skirt. I don’t know what compelled me to do so, but it worked out in the end!

If you’re ready to go all out for your Halloween party, this human torso appetizer is the way to do it! In 2012 I spent a whole day at work making this and I think it just might be awesome enough to be worth all the time I put in. 😀
This is a really old project, but one of my most well received! When I originally posted it on Instructables in 2009 I was making it to wear to the Where the Wild Things Are movie opening night. Since then, loads of people have made it and shared photos – it’s definitely well tested!
Look at all those awesome folks! And that’s just a few of the ones that have shared photos. I hope I’ll see more of them after this Halloween! 😀

Here’s a classy way to spook up your door during October: A SNAKE WREATH!
Best of all, it’s super simple. 😀
Seeing TMNT on the big screen again got me inspired to make some nice superhero masks. But I didn’t stop there – I also decided to post a superhero mask pattern and a tutorial so you guys can have one too. 😀
Can you guess which of the TMNT is my favorite? ^^^ *cough* ^^^
