This is the best barbecue sauce ever. I love a bit of acidity to cut through all the fat in barbecue. 😀 And the best part? You don’t even have to cook it! Just combine everything in a glass jar and let it hang out in the fridge overnight.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon worchestershire
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • pinch of celery seeds

Combine in a bowl at first so that you can easily taste test and alter. 😀

Once that’s done, pour it into a jar and stick it in the fridge. It’s best left overnight, but if you really feel the need to use it beforehand – it’s still delicious!

    Hi,
I’m trying out your pulled pork recipe and was going to make this to go with it. I have a question, when you say yellow mustard, do you mean Dijon or the American type mustard used for hot dogs?

FYI; The smell of the pork cooking is insane!

Yep – just standard American yellow mustard! Dijon would work, but it won’t have the same bite. 🙂

And isn’t it? It’s so hard to smell it allllll day.

What brand of hot sauce do you use?
